That was a tad harsh!

There is a restraining order that the victim clearly had no desire to have enforced and thus the "cycle" continues. Pooh living next door does NOT mean she must drag this person into counseling and/or protect her!

This may sound kind of callous, but maybe you shouldn't get directly involved. Getting directly involved may put you in danger. I'll reiterate what people have said about an anonymous call. If there's some type of hotline that you could call for battered woman maybe you could also try that as well.

That was harsh; ouch. Come on everyone; no need to turn an already tense subject into something amongst the community.

Make an anonymous call or leave a note on the door saying to keep it down (yes, sometimes if they are aware that others are aware....). If you came here to vent, so be it; if you came seeking advice, well, the general concensus is spoken.

Its your call. Again, something even worse could happen and we dont even want to think about that. The guys a piece a **** obviously; unfortunately making the decsion to get involved can change more than one persons life for the good or bad.

Sleep on it.

Well John, too many people are quite happy to look the other way, regardless.

This is a sad reflection on the human race these days.


If Pooh is going to post this topic, Pooh is going to get answers, and they're not always going to be what she wants to hear.

There are far better places to post a topic such as this, sites dedicated to helping exactly this type of concern.

Why she posted it here is rediculous.
