Widescreen to DVD

I shot a short in Squeeze mode, and I exported from FCP in 16:9. It plays back perfectly in quicktime, but when i burn it to a dvd, it plays back somewhere inbetween 16:9 and 4:3.

I'm burning with iDVD, and i selected a 16:9 project.

What's wrong?

what kind of tv? or are you playing back on computer? if so, what kind?

I've tried on a normal 4:3 tv as well as several "widescreen" computers both PC and mac.

The screening of this short is thursday night, so I'd really like to have it in the correct ratio. I think right now its in 3:2 ratio.

Put it through Compressor and check 16:9 in the inspector and it'll come out fine.
