widescreen in SD on HVX200 Problems?! I need help

I have been trying to figure out to set my HVX to shoot in widescreen in SD.
I have the aspect ration set at "Normal", so it should be shooting a native 16:9, right?

The problem is, I am capturing in Premiere using the "DV Widescreen 48khz" and it still captures it at a 4:3 ratio in a Widescreen formatted canvas.

What am I doing wrong? How can I set the HVX so that it will capture at a 16:9 widescreen ratio?

I know its probably a simple fix but apparently its beyond me and my understandings! :huh:​

It depends on what exactly you want to do. If you want just letterbox within a 4:3 then use the Letterbox option. If you want actual 16:9 then choose Squeeze. Hope this helps.
