Wider Canon Lens?

So I just picked up an AF100, and I have access to two lenses at the moment:

Canon 24mm FD 2.8 S.S.C
Canon 55mm FD 1.2 S.S.C

As a lens adapter i purchased the Novoflex FD to micro four thirds lens adapter at B&H.

My question is: 24mm is probably not going to be wide enough for me on the AF100.. considering it becomes a 48mm. What FD canon lens would you recommend that is wider, and if not, what nikon lens should i be looking at. (I can just get a nikon adapter if i pickup a wide angle nikkor lens)

Thanks for all your help

I think native micro four third lenses are best for wide angles. They cost less than 35mm and are very sharp. The Lumix Pancakes are nice. 14mm and 20mm. The 7-14 is awesome! Everybody is going to get sick of me saying this. Its not fast but the AF-100 shoots so clean its a non-issue, and you can't really get shallow depth of field in a wide angle anyway. I love it. Those are three good choices.

I do also have the option of going for the 14-42 ... but im sure its has even more of a toy feel and now sure how sharp you guys think it is.

Any comments on the 14-42? I could probably get one for 100 bucks. Quite a bargain

Thanks for all your help everyone

I wouldn't touch the 14-42 but take a look at the 14-45. It would be well worth your time. I have it and it's a great lens for $280.

Wow didn't even know about the 14-45 with the metal mount. Sounds much better.

I know they are two different things (ones a zoom the other is fixed and faster, but which one would you go with? - 14mm 2.5 or 14-45

Hehe thanks!
