Wide Angle Lens

Anyone ever hear anything about the Digital Optics 0.5x 72mm wide angle lens. I have one in my possession but can't seem to find it's worth anywhere.

I heard they are a piece of junk and can be found on ebay for redicuously high prices included with combo packages. It is probably worth no more than $25 dollars, and if can be assumed correctly, when used with the DVX, all images are useless, garbage. Am I correct? You may be able to sell it to someone who knows no better for upwards $75, but if I am correct with these lenses, they are worthless and they shouldn't even be put on a DVX.

Maybe someone can justify using this lens, and if so let me know, I would be happy to reshape my opinion if I hear otherwise.

I agree with ou magichristopher they really are piece of junk my friend got one on ebay in a package with his dvx!
