I was going to reply to this in the DVX100B thread where the comment was made, but it was closed. . .
Barry commented that the DVX100B "would" have remote focus and iris capabilities, and another posted replied "so does model xxx JVC, why would you want it?"
I would have loved it if my DVX100 (no A/B, etc. . .) had these when I was working on the feature "No Regrets" (which sold to Lifetime) and running my camera on a Stanton Jimmy Jib. I had a remote zoom control from Studio1, but no way to pull focus OR adjust the exposure without either leaqving it on Auto Iris or stopping the shot and lowering the camera so someone could adjust the iris.
So, sure not something you might use every day, but I would welcome it since I operate a Jib often.
