Why you should never take a break from this site

Some may have noticed that I have not been on so much lately. I've had some health problems, a couple of benign tumors that need to come out, neice being born with a genetic disorder (missing some genetic material on one of her 4th chromosomes), had to move again... And so, it happened that I wasnt able to be here too much. Yesterday, it felt great to just chill and hang out and post and laugh. Then I started thinking that I had not seen any posts from CaptMench. But lots from Kilgour and Mikko. So it just stands to reason that I dreamed lastnight that I lived in DVXuser and it was a military state with CaptMench in command and me, Kilgour and Mikko being called out for being disorderly.

They already are. There is surgery that can fix what ails me. I have wonderful doctors and a decent health plan. A friend of mine offered to rent me a room for a measely $250/mo +1/2 util. And my neice is the most beautiful creature to me, made more lovely by every sunrise that finds her here among us.

Glad you are doing better. It's refreshing to hear someone appreciating the days they have.
I have watched people trying to play catch up when they find out they are ill. Trying to make up for all of the lost time they spent complaining...
We only have a short time to experience all the beauty and wonder around us. I'm glad you have recognized this and are putting it into action.
I have never understood why nations don't get along. If a fraction of the energy and effort put into making war were put into making peace and exploration and art, where would the human race be now?
No rant here, just sharing and happy to be able to share with everyone.
