Why wouldnt you turn NR to +2

If sharpness is an issue, we are dialling sharpness out, -2, but to smooth and roll-off the corners why wouldnt you turn the NR to +2, will this help to get the smoother less edgy baked-in look people are saying they are seeing with GH1? agreed it may smudge finer detail too and it may be better to have it at 0 or +1 but turning it off, this may make things even sharper ie detail all the way!
 
Noise reduction needs to be evaluated again in light of the new codec. In the old days noise reduction didn't really seem to do anything, and we would go to -2 to try to hold on to any detail we could get. Now, it's entirely possible that NR might be a valid/valuable tool, so ... experiment and tell us your findings.
