Why would I buy a EX3?

I shoot with two XHA1's, I've been thinking about buying two EX1's however the EX3 is on the scene now. I don't find the shoulder design helpful as I already have robs and a shoulder support and I won't be buying any other lenses. Besides hooking my Letus Extreme directly to the cam, and the frame rate dial, is there any real benefits over the EX1? :dankk2:
 
DigiPrimes should produce something quite exceptional. Though I would recommend searching through the forum a bit. This topic has been dealt with numerous times. Plenty of good info exists here in regards to this camera.
 
Matt been trying to search however the search seems to be broken or something, not getting any results on the terms ex1 and ex3.

you are absolutely right Nicholas. I forgot - the site doesn't allow you to search 3word or under queries. Don't ask why...haha

ex1 site:dvxuser.com type that in google and it will produce some nice results for you. Or change ex1 to ex3. Hope you find what you need.
 
I have two EX1's and just took delivery of the EX3 last week. Short answer to your question: if you don't need the new features you already know the EX3 has, then buy the EX1 and save thousands of dollars you'll need later to buy more SxS cards or a good tripod or a good monitor. The EX3 has it all and I love it, but I'm keeping one EX1 because it is so much lower profile/smaller footprint for tight situations--and for the most part, it has everything you need.
