Why won't my timecode display on the LCD screen or the viewfinder?

I can't get my timecode display to show up on my LCD or in the viewfinder. I can't find an option to turn this off or on anywhere in the menus. My TCG is set to REC RUN and my OTHER DISPLAY is set to ALL.
