Why won't clip transcode?

I shot 480/24pA on my 64 gig card for just barely over an hour, single shot. The log and transfer window shows my clip as multiple clips as you can see in the image below. The big problem is that the 0005 clip won't transcode properly. It only gives me about the first 2 1/2 minutes of the stated 19:50:00 duration. Ugghh, I need to format this card and use it tonite again so I'm hoping to figure this out before I do that. At this point I'm missing 17ish minutes from 1 of 3 cameras on a very important show

I have had that problem before trying to import longer clips, I think its a problem with a certain version of FCP and its support for P2. Anyhow, copy the entire contents of the P2 card into a seperate folder on your hard drive. Don't rename anything, and make sure you get the contents folder and last clip file. This will allow you to reformat and use your card while you figure out how to log the footage. Then when you have some time, try to use P2CMS, or some other P2 aware software to transcode the footage from xml to .mov. Just make sure you back up the whole P2 card before reshooting and you can mess with this whenever you have time, just preserve that file structure!
