why the f3 is worth the money.... extreme example

Hi All,
just wanted to share this video i did with my friends because this is a perfect example why the f3 is so much better...
shot on f3 (tamron 28-70 2.8), 7d (tamron 18-55 2.8, samyang 85 1.4), ex-1

right before the concert one dimmer went down, so we had to deal with 2/3rds of the light i intended and lit. so all of the cams were near their limits
f3 was on cinegamma 4 with alister chapman's settings, 7d was flat, ex-1 on cinegamma4 (unfortunately not with my settings as it came back factory reset after renting it to friends ;-( )

all of the cameras are great, and i like them all but... you really see the difference in extreme lighting situations like that...

i tried to match the 7d to the others, but as there is so little color info left in the picture i decided not to for the sake of quality.

one thing though with the f3: as it is so clean, the codec shows more macro blocking in these situations as the ex-1. this is due to the nature of macro block-coding. the noise level of
the ex-1 helps it to disguise this effect (as well does the c300 from what i see) - anyway i got me a wonderful Samurai for that ;-)
