Why the big difference?

I've got 6 hours of footage, shot on the DVX,
which looks great ---I'm in the process of making
dubs of each 60 minute tape---using the DVX
for playback and a Canon GL1 as the recorder
for the dubs.

Halfway through dubbing, I'm noticing that the
DVX LCD screen is displaying those nice warm
tones, while the GL1 LCD is showing the footage
as all yellowy.

Is it just in the GL1's LCD,or is all the footage that
I'm dubbing going to have the same yellow look?

Re: Why the big difference?

If you use firewire to copy between the cameras there should be no difference at all in colors or quality. It's strange that your GL1 show different colors on the LCD though. You should try and playback the dubbed tape and see how it looks. Also try play it back on your DVX100.

Re: Why the big difference?

Yeah, it sounds like an LCD issue. Don't panic until you see the finished product on a TV.
