Why so little info on the Sony cameras?

The A65 and A77 look very interesting to me, especially since I do more photography than film on my personal cameras. Any of my film work is done on rented or borrowed cameras. Also, I love the translucent mirror concept.

Has there been a quality review of the Sony's movie modes? I'm interested in things like color reproduction and balance, dynamic range, highlight clipping, etc. not just a list of framerates and resolutions it offers.

It has been mentioned here on the forums, but apparently not much of a following yet at the moment.

The Canon and Panasonic models seem to be stealing the show. I'm also a bit curious about those Sony models.

until they get some skilled shooter to create something compelling and do a positive review of the camera, there will be very little interest

but for example Philip Bloom asked for an A77 when they announced it, and still hasn't received it (AFAIK), so either the camera is not as good as it should, or they're just worried about FS100 sales (which, to me, would mean that they're waiting for someone to eat their lunch)

my prediction is that firmware will be so annoyingly dumb that we'll conclude it doesn't make sense to go for these cameras (like: all the features they have that someone could want, like phase detection AF, in-camera image stabilization, etc, will only work in full-auto mode)

edit: all that doesn't apply to the nex-5N, that one seems to offer the best bang-for-buck right now, together with the T3i/60D and the GH2 (each being best in some areas)
