Why Redundant Frames?

Hi,

I'm shooting a project in 24P Advanced. So far I've been doing fine using the 2:3:3:2 pulldown in FCP and the footage looks great. However, for seemingly no reason, all of the footage I'm bringing in now has to be rendered in the 23.97 timeline. Also the footage has a redundant frame every 5 or 6 frames, as if something is suddenly wrong with the pulldown. Does anyone know what could have possibly caused this?

Looking further, I see that the raw captured files are 25 fps instead of 24. Anyone know what this might mean? Did FCP perhaps just screw up, and I should try recapturing? Because I'm fairly certain I shot it all in 24pA and captured it with the pulldown. Any ideas?
