Why no "knee" in cine like ???

Just as the title states, I'm wondering why there's no knee protection in that particular setting. My only guess is that it's to get as much possible resolution? I dunno.

IIRC, cine-like is supposed to mimic the characteristics/curves of film, where it'll just go to pure white or something. There's something else about knee protections looking too video.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
