Why is there no plain CINE-LIKE gamma on the hmc150 like in the dvx?

I used to use a DVX-100B which had a gamma curve called CINE-LIKE. No V or D, just plain cinelike. I used to always use that gamma curve but when I updated to the HMC150, the plain cinelike gamma curve wasn't available, it only offers cinelike d or cinelike v. What differentiated the normal Cinelike gamma curve from the cinelike d and cinelike v curves? Why was it not available on the cameras now? Also, what settings on my HMC150 would bring me closest to the look that the plain cinelike gamma curve produced on the dvx? In the DVX100B manual it even says that plain cinelike has less noise than cinelike D! If thats the case, why did they get rid of it?!

Thanks!
