Hey guys, this seems like it may be the right forum to post this in...or it may not. but here is my predicament-
All of a sudden, out of the blue, Premiere 6.5 started capturing my footage all squashed in a 1.21:1 aspect ratio, but all of my capture settings are how they used to be...720x480, 4:3, aspect ratio DV 0.9.
So I decided to take the camera and capture some footage into FCP 4.5 at a friends place...all the settings are how they should be, yet the exact same thing is happening. weird, squashed footage in 1.21:1. This leads me to believe that it is something the camera is telling the computer? I'm shooting in letterbox...sqeeze is not on. What the hell!
