This is a crossed post but it might be interesting for the folks in the F35/F3 community:
I just purchased Vegas version 14. It does not add breathtaking capabilities compared to the older versions BUT the following three reasons are good enough for me:
- Mercalli V4 comes for free with it
- Prores native support means not only 10bits, which is great, but also my lovely F35 footage or any Slog footage recorded on prores now can display the full values, no more highlights clipped.
- I want to help Magix, so that they keep investing in Vegas in the future, hands down the most user friendly editing software out there right now.
