I'm a newbie to the HMC-150 and just got the camera. As a test shoot, I set up a quick and nasty green screen shoot and was horrified at the quality of the video I got. I shot in (I assume) full HD 1920x1080 at 29.97 fps. The video was really grainy, pixelated, lacked detail that I was expecting, and frankly, my old PD150 looked better. I'll attach a screen grab from Premiere for reference.
I know this is a perfect opening for the flaming and hating on my lighting techniques, etc, but like I said - it was just a test shoot to see what the basic settings got me.
Thanks in advance,
Joe
PS- in reading and researching, I know that the Scene Files settings are often the difference between good and great shots - I've looked at the PDF from Panasonic, but does anyone have a cheat sheet for settings? For example, Green Screen - use this, Landscapes in bright sunlight - use this, Talking head with beauty background - use this, etc...?
