Hi All:
Since I have been shooting with our HVX-200s here, we have always shot at 720 24PN mode to obtain the maximum run times from our P2 cards. If you insert two 8GB P2 cards into an HVX-200, you get 41 minutes of run time. So far, so good.
Yesterday, I was giving a "how to use the HVX-200" lesson to a co-worker and I inserted two 8GB P2 cards into the camera with the camera set at 720 30PN. The display showed 44 minutes run time? Huh?
Makes no sense to me. Shouldn't 30PN take up slightly more room than 24PN?
What say you? Can someone else with an HVX and 2 8GB P2 cards test this? 3 extra minutes are cool, I just can't figure out why I have them.
