why 1080?

why should i shoot on 1080?

Im usually shooting on 720p due to I shoot alot with my Nikon D90

what is the main factor of shooting on that setting? 1080? what do you perfer?

You can key/crop down any 1080 to 720 without any loss... other than that its personal preference. I like 720 when I need HD but still don't want to much detail. Also when you need 60p you have no choice.
