WHOOPS! GH1 and GH2 Were Set Differently: 1080i60 and 1080i50?

I just noticed in the log and transfer window that one of my GH shooters were set to 1080i60 and the other was 1080i50. I didn't know that was possible. I'm looking to output at 29.97. Am I screwed?

Well I dont know really but I thought I'll reply to give you a headstart and hopefully someone will come along and give a more accurate answer. I think the 50i footage will not play back properly at 29.97fps/it'll look weird.
You may as well test it out and see what happens.

Well, since you've shot the footage already... try it? You could have done that in the three days waiting for an answer. Depending on what you shot, i think it might or might not work, but it's not ideal, of course.

I tried it before I even wrote the post. It seems to play just fine in an FCP 1080i60 timeline mixed with 1080i60 footage. However, I'm looking for more insight. I feel as though I'm not that lucky.

If it works then its all good! I wouldn't worry too much, if you can't see a problem then its unlikely anyone else will spot it.

To avoid this in future, make sure your cameras are both set to NTSC for USA. On GH1 hacked cameras, you can set for PAL or NTSC by switching the monitor output - weird way to adjust this, but that's the way it's done.
