I was shooting this weekend and all the sudden the whole picture turned red. It was crazy. I was using a mac as my monitor, it look fine on the Mac but on my LCD screen all red. Can anyone tell me what happened?:kali:

Is it still doing it? how long did it last on the LCD?

Maybe it's the LCD thats broken...Did you drop the camera?

My JVC did that too, and they replaced it. I never did find out why it did that.
Looks very similar to the problem with Sony PD170. Sony actually silently offered to repair the problematic CCD circuitry for free. I am not sure if this is indeed a CCD problem or just the LCD problem. It would be easy to see if the recorded images show correctly on a good monitor.
