Whole Batch of Music Videos...

So we shot this video on the DVX for the group, The Silent League, back in July for their US Release: http://ic.funk.nu/TSL/tsl.mov

Then they wanted a couple of little live samples, so we cut together these two little bits from a practice we happened to shoot (with the DVX) while in NY with them, and from one show they played when they were through here, in Chicago. We just strung as much together as we could from the tiny bit of footage we had, and had to sync it to the album tracks, so there are holes here and there:

Then, recently, they got picked up by Universal in the UK and wanted another video on the quick, flashy and animated, with a different visual tone, to add as an enhancement to the CD over there. So we did this one (finishing last night around midnight), using the footage we'd edited from the afformentioned concert:

Man, you think you're such a good filmmaker just because you use animation and flashy effects like that. Have you ever actually made something that did not rely on using special FX and animation to win-over an audience. I bet you, you think you're all "indie" and soooooo cool because of this. Where did you learn to make music videos, Nickalodeon?!. If everyone thought that was good, then they must be just as airheaded as you are. Do us all a favor, come back when you have some real work to show. You people make me sick with your pretentiousness and arogant ways of doings things. I bet you, you have never even picked up a DVX before, huh? Go write a script.

Loved them. Nice videos and Good music.:) I especially liked the first one with the lemon and the animation one was good too. How long did it take to make the animation and what was used. Love to see more work.
 
Wow, animated one was great. Can you give us some of the tech details? Editing system, compositor, etc?

I really liked the look.

holy **** the animated one is simply outstanding! I'm very impressed with it! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you do the animated stuff? Were they cut outs that you filmed or was it all software generated?
