GH2 Who ships to South Africa - I want a GH2

EDIT: Finally...well maybe. Checked ebay the other day and suddenly guy lists again. GH2 for sale - new. Should get it in a few days. And like Miss Murphy, now that I paid for one I see a bunch of people selling their kits here on DVX. Sela ve.

That is great. I know which camera I want that will fulfill most of my needs, but it seems finding a seller that ships internationally and sells at a fair price is just about non-existent. I thought I was sorted the past Sunday night on Ebay - but I was out bid by $30

I don't mind buying a second hand unit either, but again "The seller doesn't ship internationally".

Hi - there are a couple of us GH users in SA. B&H and Adorama are your best bets for international shipping - have had no problem with either of them. Did buy a couple of GH1 bodies last year from Japan, which was also fine. Or go paypal/ebay with buyer protection - many shippers do go international. UPS have been the best in bringing in to SA in my experience. ciao > Ian

I checked B&H and their shipping scared me - maybe I should check again cause I did have a bunch of website pages open at the same time. Currently all the ebay listings state they don't ship to SA, what is the experience in changing their minds?

You say you bought from Japan, you have a link? I tried ebay.co.jp but that yielded zero results possibly cause I'm not Japanese and possibly cause typing in English messes with the ebay search function.

Ian, you mind me asking what it is your doing with all your GH1/2 bodies - meaning what type of projects have you used them for? I want to get into commercials and the cliche, feature films.

Haha indeed.

I bought the GH1's more than a year ago, don't still have links, but check around for who ships to SA or contact them directly. Always buy through Ebay though for buyer protection. Have used the GH's for commercials, doccies, music videos etc. but shooting more on an AF these days. I do have a GH2 on it's way to SA this week though, because the hack has made that body interesting to me. The more work you do the better you get Good luck!
