Who Possesses The Hvx200 First ?

I am guessing Barry Green is playing with one right now in order to write the HVX book, I think he mentioned he had one, but the audio wasn't working.

Other than that, it looks like only 100 people or so are going to possess it on the 29th from what it sounds like.

Actually, I believe Barry did mention in this forum (or another) that he had the HVX200, but it did not have the latest firmware version .

If this is so, I'm sure when Barry gets his hands on the final version, he'll share some of the goodies with us :)

Barry has I think a pre-production unit which was not according to spec.
So will tomorow be D-day ?????
Who willl get one ???????
 
will stores be receiving them on thursday or will panasonic start shipping them on thursday?

While you said it as a joke, it does make a point. The cameras START shipping from Panasonic on 12/29/2005. Given anywhere from a day to 7 days before it is received by the dealer, it is likely that we won't see anyone saying they have the unit until the first week in January.

im currently suppose to be able to pick mine up from the dealer on FRI the 30th. hopefully nothings changed with that since i spoke with them earlier this. id imagine that more than just the one dealer will have them arond then though.
