Comming from photography, sunsets or sunrises are a very special time to get colorfull and interesting shots. Did try a bit with filming and similar light situations combined with grad filters, sometimes I struggle a bit with a broken codec, heavier noise in some of the darkened filter parts. All in all I do small steps in the right direction, just need to see the possible options of the camera. I guess I expect too much with video and there are certain things not possible in comparison to photography. You have to be very carefully with underexposures, in photography I sometimes underexpose to get more rich and colorfull scenes but with 8 bit video I get pixelation or codec/color damages sometimes...so I need to learn some more steps.

Anyway, anyone is filming with grad filters and how is your expirience, how do you expose, what to avoid and so on...maybe you have some tricks n tipps for a beginner.
