Who insures your camera?

Must have missed something in search, since the topic has been discussed extensively. I personally have my equipment on an Inland Marine policy issued by Great American, through USAA.

I pay $120/year for my XL2. Not bad if you ask me. Through State Farm.
Yeah, but that's an additional policy tacked on to your existing homeowner's/renter's insurance for a "personal" camera, isn't it? I mean, if you used your XL2 in an explicit business capacity (e.g., rental), is it still covered? Some reasonably priced production equipment insurance company used to advertise in the back of Videography or DV Magazine. Anyone remember who that was?

I am getting my equipment covered through Allied Insurance. Reasonable rates for professional coverage.

The Hartford does a lot of these types of policies, but my local agent had some customer service issues, so I had a Nationwide agent write up a policy. Covers all of my gear ($28k worth) and $1m liability for $600/year.

The Hartford. It is a comprehensive package that also provides liability and all sorts of other coverages ( the poilicy is exhaustive to read). It's approximately $850.00 per year.

I also have supplementary coverage through Ruger. ;-)

with Inland, how much can someone expect to pay yearly for coverage on the HVX?
