An introductory film to some of the people behind Whitestone Motion Pictures ('The Candy Shop', 'Heartless: The Story of the Tin Man'). Shot entirely in high speed with the Phantom, which is a pretty awesome camera! Directed by Brandon McCormick.

Enjoy!

I like slowmo but a lot of stuff is overexposed and contrasty, whites are eaten, also shutter speed could have been a bit higher.

what was the point of this? phantoms definitely arent cheap, I hope who ever paid for renting is either rich or planning on using it for something beneficial rather than test shots with the crew. Sure its fun to be able to use a phantom, but for this videos purpose, I think something alot cheaper would have been the smarter way to go.

What you guys did makes as much sense as a dad renting a red camera to record his kids dance rehearsal. Maybe instead of blowing $2500 on renting this camera(probably more since your not in la or ny) would be to make a short.

Please tell me you didn't rent the camera just for this. For the love of god and all that is holy, tell me these scenes were shot during your breaks on set.
