Whitescreen test: Greech and Co

Put some music to it and practiced with our new whitescreen setup.

Equip:

Bought a used projector screen (from 50's) for $.25 at goodwill. Lit it with two shop lamps on either side and blew out the white to give ample contrast to key out. Then stood in front of it (out of lights way) to act.

may i ask WHY you are doing white screen? it doesn't make sense man. if you happen to overlight a subject, then the highlights on there face will be keyed out, and even in costumes. i saw this too many times on this video. and were you lighting it with a blue light???

My guess is it was 25 cents. That's not much cents but cost wise a lot of sense to experiment. :cheesy:

hahahhahahaha what the hell.

but it still looks pretty ok concidering you used a white screen. i've only keyed once with a blue background and already found that difficult

the cost was certainly the reason. It turned out better than our previous attempt with a blue sheet. Learned alot about lighting the background for proper keying...
