Shot a little white limbo piece with my jazz drummer friend, Michael Welch for an upcoming DVD he's doing. Still have something left to figure out with the CC and that. Also the web compression throws it off a bit... Looks pretty good and you can see the edge of the set.. myself and a few other errors or outtakes in this. I used this as it was the shortest take we did tonight and to check the exposure and settings. I'm hopefully going to pick up an HD edit monitor this week...


Hope you enjoy. I have some pictures and other video to upload that show our set and all that. just have some HDs to clear off and this was all I cut fit from the P2 cards..

Let me know your feedback.... Both shoots were warm up tests for another shoot this week...
 
Maybe you can use a few crane shots ( small crane) if available. It can add more dimension to the shot... :)
 
How do you know we didn't have my jimi jib out there? Reading minds again or checking out all the footie off my HD... lol Maybe we could also add a guerilla on a dolly too and women on surfboards doing pilates...



This was a sample of the look and not representative of the piece... I still have to figure out some of the CC for it and all that. Just the shortest segment that I dropped onto the HD.

Only thing was the cable, but as you mentioned, this is just a couple of shots from a shoot. Done the same way? (Backlights et al)

Yes. the cable and some mike placement later. The drummer actually liked them being in the shot rather than taking them out and these are promo pieces for him. When we get the 5 minute thing together I'll put up a link. He's an experimental drummer playing with 4 sticks.. 2 in each hand. I'll put up his website when I chat with him again.


I can post some pics here. I haven't done that. How do I go about putting up some photos on this page? or would links to my server be better?
