white dot on my lens ?

look like maybe a dead pixel... what are my options for dealing with this ....

I have a two cam shoot tonite... thinking I am defintely going to use this one as my static cam... is there a way to have it fixed... is it a major repair

also anything I can do in post to fix the problem....

this sucks :( saved up forever to buy the cam only 59 hours..(it used so no warranty)... anyone wanna buy a dvx100a with a dead pixel:(
 
Wait... what?

Are you talking about the lens itself, or the flipout LCD, or the viewfinder?

If it's on the lens, clean it. If it's in the LCD, not a big deal. If it's in the viewfinder, not a big deal, as it's only one small dot, and it won't show up in your final video.
 
it looks like a little white speck that is right behind the actual lens... like a little dirt spec the size of a pen dot
