White balancing w/Mattebox

If you use a mattebox on your AF100 (that blocks the sensor above the lens) how do you perform white balance? Do you perform the balancing before putting the mattebox in place?

When you white balance it's not using a sensor on the camera. It uses the MFT sensor behind the lens. I think that is what you are asking.

Yes, that is what I was asking. I have not yet received my AF100 yet (will be here today) but I was reading the manual ahead of time and it was speaking of not blocking the sensor mounted just above the lens (I don't have the manual in front of me at this time to verify). Could they have been referring to autofocus?

The sensor above the lens is for automatic white balance (ATW), not for manual white balance. A manual white balance is done through the lens, manual wb doesn't use that sensor.
