I am a videographer I have the AG DVX100B and the 100A. When I shoot outside and then come inside the church, and I don't have alot of time to white balance. there is a big change in color. I know that the 100B is not the best in low light conditions. My video's sometimes come with a yellowish tint! Does anyone out there have any suggustions to help me with my video's.
Thanks

negy,

There are two possibilities here. First, you can use the White Balance Presets for 5.6K and 3.2K for a quick shift between outside and inside. Second, if you have a few moments before the shoot, use the White Balance 'A' to save an outside balance, and use 'B' to save an indoor one. Then you can just switch back and forth between them.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

John

The presets are the best way to go if you consistantly find yourself forgetting to white balance - worst case, use AWB perhaps?

The other option for those shots that you might have "messed up" with the white balance is to colour correct them in post production - I have no idea what editing application you use, but most professional editing systems have some sort of levels function (at the bare minimum) or colour corrector built in - you tell the application what "white" is and it'll tweak all the colours accordingly :)
