Hi Guys
Just got my Af100 5 days ago and already filmed 3 day with it. one of the days was in a green studio shooting this: http://vimeo.com/20077571

But still i couldn't figure out some things, that i'll appreciate your help with:

1. how to set up the function knob to change the white balance temperature? i read Barry green tips and tricks but still didn't get it... Answered

2. is it possible to set the metadata with the camera without using a computer? or is the only way is to use the AVC-View software from panasonic? Still Open
3. What is the correct workflow for capturing the video to final cut pro? Still Open

4. How do you guys save an archive of your footage? do you save the converted video? or do you save the Raw material? Still Open

5. I need to send the footage to the client by internet, but its 6GB... do you have any suggestion? Still Open

I've learned so much from you guys :)
Thanks!

1. Put the camera in Preset (PRST) WB mode on the WB switch, press the auto WB button just below the lens a couple times until it cycles past 3.2k and 5.6k modes and it gets to VAR mode, then if the function stick is moving around an AF box on the screen instead of adjusting WB, hold it down until the box disappears, and then click the function stick up and down to set WB in 100deg Kelvin increments.

2. No. You must use the panasonic software. But as far as i'm aware, that meta data is completely useless for FCP users, someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
3. use log and transfer to convert to your favorite flavor of pro res. If you are unsure of which flavor to use, try prores LT.
4. Personally, I archive the raw material along with a trimmed FCP project file with online footage.
5. If it must be by internet, then get a fast connection and a large FTP.

Thanks!!!

But ;) When importing to FCP with Log & Transfer It gives the files new name (clip #003) so how do you intend to reconnect the files if needed?
