White balance when shooting computer screens?

I have to shoot some insert shots of banks of computer screens in a traffic control room and I'm wondering how to do it.

I know I can use the syncro scan to reduce flickering, but how do I set the color temperature? Should I just go with the stock indoor color temperature preset?

If you have any control over what's on the screen, put something with black and white up so you can do a WB adjustment in post. If you know a certain screen element is black and something else is white, it's trivial.

Not true. I'm typing this on a LCD that has a range of color temperature settings in Kelvin, and the refresh rate is fixed at 60Hz.
