white balance presets around dusk

I am shooting a live concert with 2 hpx170's and 1 hvx200. It is outdoors with stage lighting. I am thinking about setting all the camera's to 3.2K preset as the sun will be going down about 30 -45 minutes after we shoot. Would this be an ideal setup or should we manually white balance between songs. We will only have a few seconds between the songs. Any advise would be great.
Thanks

Would not recommend it.

Concentrate on your subject, the stage lighting won't change temperature all of a sudden and who knows, maybe the sunset in the background makes for a nice subtle effect ?

Good shooting!

Assuming most of your shots will focus on the action on the stage, which will be predominantly lit with what we would assume will be tungsten, I would do a manual white balance before you begin and then just leave a white card somewhere on the stage or use something white on stage and white balance at least one other time. It sounds as if you will from daylight mixed with tungsten to primarily tungsten as the sun sets. I would also try to shoot a grayscale or chip chart on stage, that way, even if the manual white balances are off after the second one, at least you will have something for the person doing color correction to work from. I have a nice chip chart that has black, white and a gray chip, the same as a normal gray scale card would have, except the sections are much larger. You should be able to hide something like this perhaps taped to the side or back of a stage monitor and all of the ops could shoot it.

But for a mix of late day daylight and tungsten, 3200 will make everything look too blue I think. Manual WB.

Thanks for your imput. I went ahead and shot with the preset and the footage came out great. no color correction needed.
