White Balance on the AF100

It's not in the menus. Set the white balance switch to PRST. Then use the AWB button on the front of the camera and it will toggle between 3.2k, 5.6k, and VAR. When on VAR, you can use the function knob to dial in the color temperature.

Barry, you are a good man!

Just watched the Sound for Film & TV DVD and boy, I didn't know there was so much stuff that, well, I didn't know : )

Thanks for all the help you give us. Been reading your posts for years and you're always very clear and concise. It's nice to have a guy like you around these forums.

Ditto on the thanks Barry,
As usual, after reading one of these little tidbits, I grabbed my camera and gave it a try... after fiddling with it for a bit, I could only get it to display the 5k and 3k variations to toggle. It was not untill I added the "disp/mode check" function to the LCD that it showed "VAR". (yeah!) So, for those of you who were having the same thing happen... remember to change the display.

Tasty little morsel... thanks again... so much to know...
