I am having a problem setting manual WB.I follow the steps on my D300 and it sets fine.
On the D7000 I follow the steps an cannot get "pre" to blink to set the balance with the shutter release.Am I pushing the wrong button?
Working here: push WB button, release, push again and hold; PRE flashes for about six seconds. Before it stops flashing, push the main shutter button. 'Good' displays, result is stored in preset d-0.
The white-balance options on the D7000 are quite remarkable, actually.
Thanks Jonathan! The book was not clear,but your explanation was.I wasn't holding down the button.Yes the WB choices are outstanding.I use Kelvin mostly as I can see the change in LV.Steve
