White balance and one particular filter

Autumn approaches and this year I plan to capture the turning foliage in all its glory. I now have a redhancer and polarizer filters. I know that for most filters I set white balalnce before attaching the filter. This redhancer works by filtering a very narrow color band, thus allowing the camera to respond more appropriately to the neighboring frequencies. Do I set white balance before or after attaching the filter? Or does it matter in this case?

Always set white balance before attaching any color-shifting filters; otherwise the white-balance will compensate for (i.e., eliminate the effect of) the filter.

Polarizing filters are different. Technically they are neutral-density and shouldn't apply any sort of color shift to your video.

The purpose of the redhancer filter is to fool the camera into accepting a different spectrum as full - one without the narrow orange band. That is why I wondered about doing white balance after mounting.

It would be after I think.
I use a warming card to get that effect.
