My short film fades to white because of the story. I set up scrolling end credits with black text on a white background. But I am wondering if that is a no-no, too hard on the viewer's eyes? Should I stick to the more standard black bg and white text? A five minute short film, for the internet/vimeo, and a local film festival with a not too large screen but of course a blackened room for the audience of seventy or so people. I can't think of examples of movies with white backgrounds for the end credits; are there examples?

EDIT: I just found this interesting blurb about a white bg end credit:

Lost: At the end of season 5, the end title screen went white (instead of the usual black.)
