While we wait and anticipate...

[Brandon Rice]

Hey everyone, here is a little cut of my failed dramafest flick... thought you'd like to watch... Reason I didn't enter is because honestly, I don't think it's good AT ALL... No reason entering something I am not proud of or happy with, but still figured to show ya'll anyway. Music is courtesy of the ever amazing Justin R. Durban!

Sorry B Masta

But either it's in DFest or it's not

I thought it had good cinematography; I liked that first running shot a lot (when you go under the fence). That location was sweet too, isolated and expansive. I know you were talking about shooting more, something with your bro's wedding, right? Is that the story part which is missing from this cut?

And btw, Justin's music is incredible...That piece felt like something out of an episode of '24'.

Thanks for sharing Brandon!

Why don't we just call 'crap' crap :embarasse

Not sure I'd go so far as to call it crap...I'd just say it was nothing special. The time of day didn't seem consistant to me. But it's not really fair to make any judgments on it because there is no context without the rest of the story. It was also obviously a poor compression (not what would have been entered in a contest) so one has to take that into consideration, too. The bottom line, though, is that if you're not happy with it, no one else will be, either. You have to please yourself before you can please others, so for that reason alone, you were probably right not to enter it.

Ah Blaine... words of wisdom to live by... exactly why I feel the way I do (it's 'crap').

I can dig it...for what it is. Cinematography and music being the highest points.
