Which version of AVID will work with 25P PAL ?

Hi there all,

I have the following problem. When starting a new project, I have only the following choices for the format :

- 23.976p NTSC
- 30i NTSC
- 25i PAL

But when selecting 25i PAL, i have also the next settings which i can select :

Film Type :

- 16mm
- 35mm, 4 perf.
- 35mm, 3 perf.

Does above like Film Type means this is the setting normally know as 25P PAL ?
Or does this version of Avid does not have the possible of 25P PAL but only for 24P NTSC ?

Do I need to change to a another version of AVID ?

Goerik,

Do you use Avid Xpress DV or Avid Xpress Pro? And what version are you running?
You need Avid Xpress Pro v4.5 or above for 25P projects.
