Which tape for DVX100

I used Panasonic AMQ-tapes for all the time with my DVX100. Now my local supplier told me that he cannot order these tapes any more because Panasonic had stopped its production. Instead he offered me HDVM tapes. Does anyone has any experience with them or any other ideas for alternative tapes from Panasonic? I did not mix tape with my cam yet and want to stay with one quality tape for the next years.

I use the Panny PQ 33min and 63min

I went from Panny MQs to Panny PQs without issues. I've shot a ton of PQ tape and I really like them. It doesn't hurt that they're cheap, too.:beer:

Thanks, that sounds good. I will go with the PQ instead HDVM MQ and save a lot of money too.

I've always used Sony Mini-DV 60mins, and have always loved them. But lately, I get at least one dropped frame every tape. A bit annoying and certainly looking forward to shooting on SD cards.
