Which Settings for Sachtler DV6 Head & HVX?

Of course, Sachtler doesn't ship this with a manual.

For regularly battery and the Sachtler DV6 in a tripod, what settings for the camera plate, and various settings rings is everybody using for the best possible tilt and pan?
