which patch? reliability + 45mbps sdhc

Hi I'm new to this patching business. I just got my gh1 in the post yesterday but I'm still waiting on my sdhc cards which are 8gb sandisk extreme pro cards that have a 45mbps write speed. I've been looking through some of the patches here and they seem a little confusing for me so I would appreciate it if I could be pointed in the right direction.

What I'd like to have is a patch that will provide the best bit rate with my fast cards but with 100% reliability. I would primarily be shooting in 1920x1080 25p and 50p (if possible?)

would really appreciate the help. or maybe someone could give me advice on custom settings so I could test it out?

also I'm wondering about the 4:2:0 4:2:2 thing. which setting is better and do they make a discernible difference to the colour depth?

cheers,

Kev

I've found the 75Mbps peak performance patch to be unbreakable at 25fps - having said that, I've had no lockups with the 100Mbps patch either - sandisk extreme 30mbps cards.

Where reliability is the highest priority, I'd recommend my Reliable In-Camera Playback Patch. This will produce significantly increased bitrate and image quality in all video modes, while preserving full in-camera playback capabilities. 4:2:2 color depth is supported only in MJPEG HD mode, and can be used to produce high quality keys in green-screen shooting.

thanks for the help guys :)

btw is there a guide anywhere to making your own custom settings what to know etc?
