Which one is the best?

[daviddelaurier]

I am serious about purchasing a 35mm adaptor, but I don't know which one to buy. I have watched a lot of footage from all of them that I could find, but I still don't have a solid case for and specific brand. Could anyone that has experience with 35mm adaptors please point me in the direction of the "best" product?

I want to find out what other people think about the matter. I hope a lot of 35 owners vote.

Ah, yes, the other35 is a quality piece of equipment.

The SG35 will be tested with the FX-1 HD cam on Sunday. If all is to my satisfaction, I will be uploading the footage with pictures and releasing Monday. The unit is £199

SG35...now that's indie, but cool. What is that about $400 US with rods. Interesting.

IMO, the name of this thread should change to: "which one do you like" or... "Which one would you like/buy" or... "Which one do YOU THINK is best". Reason? Only someone who has tested them all under the same conditions using the same lens and camcorder can TELL : "here is the footage from "this one and the other one" and based on the footage (not wild guesses or gut feelings) this one is better than another from these perspectives; Price, Craftsmanship, Image quality, convenience in use, size/weight and ..... Overall. May I ask the starter of this thread which “other35” is? I also think the Mini35 should be on the list. My 2c.
