Which lenses should I invest in (AF100 & beyond)

I have the Tokina 11-16, Tamron 17-50 VC and the Caon 50mm f/1.8. I don't have anything on the long end.

If I were going to do it all over, I'd stick with the Tokina 11-16, and get the Canon 24-70 and the 70-200 f/2.8 IS. If I get a C300 I think that's the route I will go.

How about a B4 video lens with a 2x extender? Fixed wide aperture across the entire zoom range, parfocal. Most are f/1.7 but you need to use the 2x extender to cover the whole sensor. With the 2x extender you get f/3.4 across the entire zoom range, which is not bad. Quite usable in existing light. Adapters are expensive, but coming down.

The "A camera" in this video is with a Canon B4 14x lens. Coverage is from 16mm to 224mm. (That's 32mm to 448mm for 35mm SLR equivalent) The "A camera" is the one that zooms. "B camera" is a static shot from a Canon Vixia HF G10.

It starts out with the B camera. When it switches to the B4 lens you can definitely see the filmic quality of the B4 lens. Be sure to check it out in full screen, 1080p mode:
