Which is more challenging ? Being a DP or a Director

[Jawa Ex Machina]

How can one learn and progress towards being a better director ? How do u "see" the final film before you even shkt your first frame ?

By learning the craft. Just like music, it's all math.

Producers can't get enough cred. I mean that.

What they lack in cred, they get in cash.

(except low budget indie producers, who are either selfless under-appreciated gods, or low balling abusive jerks. One of the two.)

I think A true director, a real gifted artist is born with it. Without that, a director can only go so far. Any one can learn the craft, but it won't make them a god unless they have it already.
